JPG is a magazine, published 6 times a year by 8020 Publishing, which focuses on photography. The content of JPG is user-created and submitted via the magazine's website. When photos are submitted to the website, they are voted on by members of the site's community for inclusion in the next issue. Photos are separated by theme, with some themes being assigned to issues while some are not.
